The Damsel House Project

2015 Damsel adopted their first house project, in one of the largest areas of child sex trafficking.

The Damsel House Project – Watch our leaders as they learn about the extraordinary opportunity in Cambodia to help girls rescued from sex trafficking recover.

In 2015, Damsel in Defense adopted our first home to support girls rescued from sex trafficking. Partnering with Destiny Rescue our founders have made two trips to Cambodia to help establish this home. In 2013 CNN reported that the sex slave epidemic in Cambodia is most often started by parents selling their children. UNICEF estimates children make up 1/3 of the sex trafficking in that country. One of the poorest countries, many people believe they have no other choice but to sell their children to survive.

This can not be allowed to continue. Damsel in Defense has dedicated an additional 5% of select products to fight sex trafficking.
